Legitimate and verifiable members of the media may register on the Academy Press List to receive Academy press releases, access photos from Academy events and request Academy Awards media credentials (when available). The Academy Press List is not for members of the general public.
Registration in the Academy Press List does NOT constitute completion of the application for media credentials to the Academy Awards. To submit an application, you must first log into your press list account, then select the "Apply for Media Credentials" link, and complete the application.
Applications for Oscars Setup Credentials for the 84th Academy Awards are now available. Login below to begin an application. Oscars Setup credentials give legitimate press representatives access to specific exterior locations from Monday, February 20, 2012, at 9 a.m. PT, to Sunday, February 26, at 11 a.m. PT. The deadline to submit an application for Oscars Setup credentials is 5 p.m. PT on Thursday, February, 23, 2012.
The deadline to apply for day-of-show credentials for the 84th Academy Awards has passed (Monday, November 14, 2011). We are not able to accept late applications.
